Keldgate Manor is a residential home for 35 elderly and disabled residents

We offer short stay, respite care and private day care.

The Manor is a Georgian listed building in a conservation area and is situated in the picturesque market town of Beverley, almost nestling in the shadow of Beverley Minster. The Manor has 23 single rooms and 6 companion rooms.

Keldgate Manor opened as a Residential Home for the Elderly in 1986 and has been under the care of the owner Mrs Raper and her family since the start of business. Mrs Raper is a qualified nurse and has many years of experience working with the elderly, and achieving a high managerial position within the NHS. Since 1986 she has owned and run the home with her family, and it has been their priority to create the highest standards of care in the private sector for the Residents of the Manor. The home is comfortably furnished and the care given to the Resident’s is of a high quality standard demanded by the Raper family. With the added involvement of her family, she feels they have created a well-run establishment homely atmosphere for their Resident’s.

Staff inductions are thorough and training is essential.

All staff undertake additional recognised caring qualifications to achieving good quality care.

The oldest part of the house was built in the eighteenth century, and at the end of the American War of Independence for the Captain of New York who retired to this old house.
